Want to Win Lacquistry Polishes?

Happy Monday, everyone!  Mondays don't mean the same to me since entering the unemployment world, but having a hubby that works during the week helps me keep the days in check.  I decided to take a break after sending out another cover letter and read some blogs when I came across yesterday's post at Things I Love at the Moment.  To celebrate reaching the 100 follower milestone,  there is a giveaway for two Lacquistry polishes of your choosing!  There are a growing number of indie polishes, and Lacquistry is regrettably one of the lines I have not yet had the pleasure of experiencing firsthand myself, but I have drooled over many a picture!  I actually just discovered the other day that Jenna, the creator of Lacquistry, also lives in Tucson, and that these babies could potentially be just a few blocks from where I live!  Perhaps one of these days I will get up the nerve to ask Jenna if she would be interested in meeting up for coffee and a chat, but I digress, as I usually do, and will get back to the purpose of this post :)

For those of you that are interested in checking out a fantastic nail blog (really, who wouldn't be?!?) AND want the chance to win two Lacquistry nail polishes, here is the direct link to the giveaway.  The giveaway ends March 11th, just four days before my birthday!

Pretty Painted Pendants

If everyone knew only one thing about me, they would either know that I

         1.  Love to do craft projects, or
         2.  I am addicted to nail polish.

Well, I have decided to combine the two!  Ha!  I am currently involved in a craft exchange with a woman that claims to love jewelry and bright colours, so I decided I wanted to play around a little bit. The Tucson Gem and Mineral Show is currently underway, and I decided to pick up a few pendant trays and glass cabochons.  After swirling around some nail polish in the glass tray, I ended up with this piece:
Sinful Colors- What's Your Name
Sally Hansen Complete Manicure- Grass Slipper
Finger Paints- Comet's Collar

Of course, when it comes to craft projects, one is never enough, so I made another one right away. This one was a little more difficult as I really want to get a rock-like effect, and I actually painted the glass cabochon instead of the tray.  I love both of these pieces, but I am extremely proud of this one due to the complexity.

Orly- Ever Burgundy
Maybelline- Succulent
Revlon- Totally Toffee
Zoya- Marcella

I was eager to show off my work to my mother-in-law and the sister-in-laws, and the sisters have already asked for one!  Yay!  I'm so excited to be making some more already.  :D
